Braxtyn had her 2 month check up today.

9 pounds 14 oz! I couldn't believe it!

I was thinking she would maybe maybe be 9 pounds.

25% for both height and weight.

Yes she is a little thing...nothing like her brother, who also

surprised us being in the 75% for 2 years.

Michelle, there birth mom is my size so she'll probably

be little like me :)

Praise the Lord for healthy kids. My heart breaks for

all the families we know that have & are going through health

issues with their children. This is something I never take for granted,

and always remember to be on my knees in prayer for those families!

Finally...a cousin day!

Tobyn and Olivia were over all day Sunday

and we all had so much fun!

Jermaine LOVES his cousins!!!

I wish I got a picture of his reaction when he

woke up and saw them.

He kept blinking his eyes like, WOW!

So Sorry its been a while!!

hmmm What have we been up too...I really dont even know.

All I know is that we've been busy!

Braxtyn is getting bigger and a lot more relaxed.

This morning she was cooing so much. It was sooo cute!

She is still sassy though, and is quite picky!

We are all having so much fun getting to know her and

her adorable personality.

Jermaine is also growing like a weed. He is talking in longer sentences

and paragraphs, which is so fun.

He now says,

"ohh mommy thank you for changing my diaper"

after I fight him to the ground to change it hahah

Whenever anyone leaves its hard for him. He always asks

"You coming back soon right?"

Last week every morning he would wake up and say

"I'm so tired" and he would be rubbing his eyes

"I worked last night on a pump job and I moved 2 pump trucks so I'm tired"

This kid LOVES pump trucks.

So all in all, we've been awesome!!

This little boy melts my heart every time I see him!

He is so sweet, just like his parents!

It will be so nice for Jermaine to have a friend that has also been adopted!

We are so blessed God brought the Peterson family to Bellingham!

Jermaine and Sawyer are starting a band...

Looking for a back up singer and

a key board player. Jermaine's main instrument is the drums.



Mommy's Little Helper

Jermaine has been such great help since we got Braxtyn.

The hardest transition for him was having Daddy go back to work

after we got back from Georgia.

He's always telling me she has a dirty diaper or she needs a bottle, then

he jumps on the couch and wants to change her or feed her!

He's been calling her sweetheart too.

Picture Time!

Its funny, I keep seeing pictures of babies asleep for baby announcements,

but Braxtyn would not sleep!

No matter what I did the last couple days, she would always wake up.

But to be honest I like pictures of babies awake anyways.

So here are a couple...

And yes...I tried so so so hard to get a good one of Jermaine and Braxtyn,

 but Jermaine

would not smile! So this is what I got.

2 years ago today...

2 years ago today my life changed...

2 years ago today I fell so in love...

2 years ago today I hold so close to my heart...

2 years & 5 days ago an amazing women who means so much to me,

I cant describe it, gave the ultimate gift to me. Something I think about every day!

 I love that girl so much.

2 years ago today I got to hold and kiss my adorable son for the first time...

I can honestly say 2 years ago today was the best day of my life...

I felt like a thousand pounds was lifted from my body.

My heart was full of praise!

I had been waiting for this day since I was a little girl...

to be a mom...

Taking the adoption road wasn't easy

and God really challenged Nathan and I.

But I just Knew, I really Knew this was what God wanted for us!

I had so much peace about it.

Yes, others would have done other things to try and have children

but I knew that wasn't for us then!

The other best thing about us getting Jermaine...2 years later we got blessed

again, with his little sister.

Yes we want more!

But I am so content with these 2 angels that God literally put in

our arms!

God has hand picked our family! How cool is that!

Rough roads ALWAYS lead to a HUGE HUGE blessing!

Lord~ You rock my world!

Such Excitement!


So Nathan asked Jermaine what he wanted for his

birthday and he told his daddy he wanted him to BUILD him a sandbox.

It was so cute because he would say "Daddy i need a sandbox...i need it"

I thought we would just go and buy one

but no, Nathan wanted to build one since Jermaine asked :)

So I was looking through my camera and realized that

I didn't post pictures from Atlanta the last couple days we were there

because Braxtyn was in the hospital so I thought I would post a couple of my favorites! :)

I just love love love watching Jermaine and Nathan! They are so close

Aquarium Time!

This was the day that Braxtyn had her long jerking episode but before

that happened we had so much fun at the Aquarium!

Jermaine is still talking about it.

After we got discharged from the hospital on Friday (May 27)

We went out to dinner with Sara and her beautiful family. It was so special and I will

never forget their great company! Sara was with Braxtyn and I in the hospital

for 5-6 hours! She was my prayer warrior and encourager! Thank you again Sara! Love you!
