Whistler 2011

Last weekend we went on a fun trip

to Whistler BC with Nathan's family...

all but Michael and our dear little Braxtyn, who stayed with

my parents. It was hard leaving her but we knew

we needed a vacation where we could go and do

things rather then work around baby schedules. And Jermaine

is at the age where if he doesn't get a nap...hes just more

grumpy in the afternoon.

It was such a perfect weekend too! The weather was perfect for walking,

playing in the pool, and going up on the mountains!

Sooo yes Jermaine's "EYES". This is what he does

if any one says "eyes"...he can roll them all the way back, you

have to see it to believe it. I cant discribe it, but its so funny!

I'm 3 months old!

We are just having so much fun with this little one!

She is defiantly starting to know what she wants.

Either a bottle or her mommy!

Where do I even start!!

Since my last post, Nathan tore his ACL & meniscus and needed

surgery asap. This all happened 2 weeks before my sister Laura's wedding

in California. Too make a long story short,

Jermaine, Braxtyn and I left Thursday morning for Cali

and Nathan stayed home and had surgery Friday morning.

I still cant believe he missed out on this fun

trip, but I am just so glad he had his family here to help him.

Surgery went really well!

So we are just all at home taking it easy.

Jermaine is loving having Daddy home but

is getting a little frustrated since he cant jump up and play with him.

I don't have any pictures of our trip or the wedding so
 I'll post some as soon as I get them.

Braxtyn is just sweet as can be!
She loves to smile and is cooing like crazy!

Braxtyn had her 2 month check up today.

9 pounds 14 oz! I couldn't believe it!

I was thinking she would maybe maybe be 9 pounds.

25% for both height and weight.

Yes she is a little thing...nothing like her brother, who also

surprised us being in the 75% for 2 years.

Michelle, there birth mom is my size so she'll probably

be little like me :)

Praise the Lord for healthy kids. My heart breaks for

all the families we know that have & are going through health

issues with their children. This is something I never take for granted,

and always remember to be on my knees in prayer for those families!

Finally...a cousin day!

Tobyn and Olivia were over all day Sunday

and we all had so much fun!

Jermaine LOVES his cousins!!!

I wish I got a picture of his reaction when he

woke up and saw them.

He kept blinking his eyes like, WOW!

So Sorry its been a while!!

hmmm What have we been up too...I really dont even know.

All I know is that we've been busy!

Braxtyn is getting bigger and a lot more relaxed.

This morning she was cooing so much. It was sooo cute!

She is still sassy though, and is quite picky!

We are all having so much fun getting to know her and

her adorable personality.

Jermaine is also growing like a weed. He is talking in longer sentences

and paragraphs, which is so fun.

He now says,

"ohh mommy thank you for changing my diaper"

after I fight him to the ground to change it hahah

Whenever anyone leaves its hard for him. He always asks

"You coming back soon right?"

Last week every morning he would wake up and say

"I'm so tired" and he would be rubbing his eyes

"I worked last night on a pump job and I moved 2 pump trucks so I'm tired"

This kid LOVES pump trucks.

So all in all, we've been awesome!!
